Kim is a field supervisor for the Person to Person Health Interview Study.  Kim received her bachelor’s degree from IU in Human Development & Family studies & her MSW from IUPUI.  In addition, she has served in the United States Army with her duties assigned overseas in Germany as well as Bosnia in the capacity of Host Nation Relations (mediation). She has more than 20 years of experience working with youth and families in mental health and crisis counseling capacities, including more than 10 years for the Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County as an Executive Director and Crisis Counselor.


Ms. Meyer is an accomplished triathlete.  She is the founder of Atomic Betty ( where she mentors/coaches women in Triathlon related sports .  The club is 204 plus members strong & members are located in over five states.  Kim completed Ironman 140.6 Louisville in October 2018. She has qualified for and competed in USA Nationals for her Age Group in the Olympic distance triathlon event.  Kim is also a certified life guard and holds certification in sports psychology.  Kim is very grateful that her husband and two teens support her endeavor, as she gives back equally and just as enthusiastically to theirs.
