Mary Ellen Van Booven is a research associate for the Center for Survey Research and has more than 25 years of health research experience, including quantitative and qualitative projects funded by the federal government, pharma, and private clients. She has managed large, complex data collection projects including focus groups, field studies, and telephone, web, and mail surveys. Mary Ellen has a wide range of experience including project management; field supervision; data collection protocol design; preparation of Institutional Review Board submissions; testing survey instruments and materials; development of standard operating procedures; recruiting, hiring, and training of data collection staff; overseeing quality control activities; and preparing reports.

In her free time, Mary Ellen enjoys reading fiction, crafting, trying out new soup recipes, and spending time with her family and friends.
