Monica’s research career is broad and varied. First as an entrepreneur with more than 25 years as President of Monalco, Inc. a Milwaukee based market research firm founded by her and continuing to operate under new ownership [www.monalco.com]. Later as Managing Director of the ASAE Foundation and Chief Research Officer for ASAE, Washington, DC non-profit focused on research in the area of nonprofit management of professional and trade associations.

Monica is a particularly strong research project manager, including client service and reporting. She has extensive experience in survey design and analysis, qualitative research (including focus groups and personal interview studies) and database management. Monica is proficient in SPSS and online survey design using Key Survey. Also, as both an entrepreneur and senior staff member, she was responsible for identifying funding opportunities and writing funding proposals and grants for research projects.

Monica is also currently working part-time for the Associate Dean for Research in the School of informatics, Computing and Engineering (SICE). There, she develops print and video marketing materials in support of the faculty research program.
